GPISD policy states that all medication to be given at school must have written order’s from a physician as well as written parent consent. (This includes over the counter medication!)

Inhalers
New law states that students may carry emergency medications on their person with a physician’s order. PLEASE NOTE that students will not be allowed to carry medication without the proper paperwork and a physician’s order. This is for the protection of your child and other students.
